Sunday ...

... Funday.

Shortly after breakfast this morning we drove up to the Plainfield Farmer's Fairgrounds so I could pick up the photos that I had entered.  And to pick up the two winning ribbons ... plus the monetary reward associated with the ribbons.  Yay!

I had entered a total of four pictures so I was pleased that two of them got placement ribbons.  And was so very happy that the Blue Jay photo received First Place in it's category.  But I have to admit to being a little disappointed that the other two photos didn't get any notice from the judges ... especially this sunflower pic.  I wasn't all that surprised that this white squirrel photo didn't get anything as I know that squirrels aren't loved by everyone.  But I was hoping.   Please have a look full screen.

After picking up my photos and check we stopped at our favorite farm stand to pick up some fresh corn on the cob before heading to the Plainfield Rail Trail for a walk.  

We were home before lunch ... and only went back out briefly for some other shopping.
