Quiet Day

A lovely day, cool and sunny, but it's been a busy week and I was tired this morning. So I took it easy - made some soup, one of my faves - Sopa Ranchero, sort of a Southeastern/Mexican Chicken soup with lots of fresh veggies including tomatoes and zucchini from the CSA share. I spent much of the rest of the day working on my class for Wednesday. Feeling pretty organized!

This lovely pink-ish dahlia just opened in a container in my courtyard. What a beauty!
