My Venus fly catcher currently has 9 heads, with another small one starting to grow.

I've had an obsession with these plants since I was a small child. If I was to see one at a garden centre that my mum or Grandma had dragged me to, I'd take great pleasure in sticking my finger in and getting the heads to close.

I must confess to often making the plants life easy, and swapping a fly, in the hope of popping it into the head, half dead, and watching the head close. Priceless.

Simple things, simple mind.
