Kapiti Island

It's a nature reserve off the western coast and we went walking that way with the U3A Monday group today. It was a fun day with a long train ride but a great Cafe at the local Garden Centre before the train ride back. An unexpected bonus was finding the local railway station had been upgraded to a local Art centre and filled the time until the train arrived.
