Equine smorgasbord

At feed time today I gave Nellie a choice, a biscuit of prime lucerne hay at $30/bale, a dipper of horse pellets at $25/bag and a handful of crusts left over from Saturday’s Bunnings barbecue. The blip clearly shows her preference!
Now there are probably some pedantic blippers out there questioning how an old vet with decades experience in the business is breaking the old rule about not feeding bread to horses. Two reasons - firstly, she loves it and secondly, if I only reveal it in the privacy of Blipfoto, it’s unlikely to ever reach the notice of my old veterinary colleagues.
