Coming event...

Following the success of my raised beds on the patio, the friend who built them is going to make two more long narrow beds under the front windows, to take the shrubs now struggling in a messy collection of pots and tubs - see my extras for the current situation.  We have the planks: now sourcing the wood for the posts.  I'm hoping it'll be done within the next week or so.  Meanwhile I have various hospital appointments in connection with my left hip: I had the right one replaced about six years ago and it transformed my life.  Now I'm back where I was until I get the other one done.
