Jamming
At lunchtime, I went shopping for the spices and vinegar I had run out of yesterday. I also bought some jam sugar, even though P and I don’t eat any jam. But I made a few jars of mirabelle jam to give away, and also a bigger batch of chutney.
After four hours of picking, washing, pitting, cutting, cooking, filling and cleaning, I’ve had enough for today. This blip shows the products made from three kilograms of mirabelles. There’s at least another ten kilos on the tree, though.
