Early Sky

This sugary early sky lasted only minutes, replaced by grey blankets.

I completed the business tasks this morning, so this afternoon tackled a job I've been putting off for months - dismantling an ancient wooden garden table, chairs and giant heavyweight sun umbrella long past repair, to be collected by the council under their 'bulky items scheme'. I almost gave up but have finally heaved most of the parts out to the side of the drive. Now for the much pleasanter task of choosing replacements.
