Bridge & Sluice (MM601)

I've not been far today - might have picked up whatever Gill has had for the past few days.  My blip is the bridge over the Dene at Charlecote - which I have probably blipped far too often in the past ... but it is a good subject and the view changes through the seasons as the sun moves* around the sky.  Having said that - the sky was quite bright so there is an in-camera ND grad in place to keep it all on the histogram. 

In the extra, the old derelict sluice gate which allows some of the water to be diverted toward the house - not that I know quite where - but probably for the kitchen, laundry and stables? 

Both are much improved seen in large. 

* well it's not really the sun moving is it - but you know what I mean - and it's too cloudy today for that to make much difference :-)
