Workday

My allotment site is managed by an allotment association. Today there was a work day, where those who were free and willing joined forces to tidy up common areas, and also to clear some unused plots (mostly due to their former occupants having health issues, preventing them from being able to maintain them) to make them more attractive for people on the waiting list to take on.

The entire site is on a hill, my plot is at the bottom of the hill, I live at the top of the hill, so even a quick visit is good exercise, but we do get a good view over the town and beyond.
