Hydrangea

I liked the mini flowers in the middle of each of the bigger flowers on this hydrangea. I photographed it out on the back green where I sat for a while this afternoon for the first time since I came back from holiday. B came and sat with me and told me that T has been unwell for several days. He has been having the "Hospital at Home" service but this has left B with a lot that she has to do, e.g. washing and ironing, and her son is going to see if a care package would be available to help with this.

Earlier I took Lexi to the vet and discussed the possibility of postponing her investigations at the Dick Vet given that she seemed to respond to the steroids while I was away on holiday and M was looking after her and giving her the tablets without anything fancy. The vet agreed that this was an appropriate course of action, so I duly changed Lexi's investigations to early September. I guess they could be brought forward if needed - or possibly cancelled altogether if she seems to have recovered - here's hoping.
