I thought I'd try The Climbing Unit this morning as it's a month since I last tested my back there, and I managed almost an hour on the easiest bouldering grades. There are still some moves that I just don't want to do though, but getting better.

Home for a cuppa and to prepare my lunch, although not to eat it because I'd got a lane swim booked. I'm still only managing half an hour and 16 lengths and still have to have a quick rest between each 2 lengths. I'd be better if I could swim slower, but I don't seem to be able to...

Lunch, and I watched some of Pilgrimage - I do enjoy that series! Then, after sowing cabbages in modules at home, I walked to the allotment via Sainsbury's... but unfortunately I'd left my phone on the worktop and had no other means of paying. Bother! I walked the mile home, got my phone and walked back to Sainsbury's and then to the allotment. I watered, although we may get rain tomorrow, cleared leaves shading the pumpkins and removed non-fruiting stalks, picked two meals worth of French beans and pulled up three beetroot. Then an allotment neighbour asked if I'd like some cooking apples... yes please! I decided to give him the beetroot, realising that I'm not going to be able to use everything up before going to my daughter's at the end of the week. The rainbow chard was looking lovely!

Then another mile back home, so four miles in total....... I think I deserve a rest tomorrow, although I'm not going to get it.
