Changing to pink

This tree starts with white flowers and very slowly changes colour. It’s Hydrangea paniculata Vanille-Fraise. It has been in the garden less than two years, so is always a surprise as it changes.

We were planning to go to the open day at Ashbourne Animal Welfare, the Ark, but did some more mundane stuff ….shopping. 

Home in time to see the end of the football, the Lionesses defending their European title. An awesome event. 

I’m not a great football fan these days, not like my childhood days watching Carlisle United play, when Bob Shankley was manager.
