The assault on the remain Munros continues (part 1)

Train from Embra to Glasgow; changed trains and headed off up towards Mallaig. Passed my first (that I remember) home (West Lennox Drive) and onwards.

A golden eagle on Rannoch Moor, some red deer and the dawning realisation that our 15 minute window from train to ferry was closing fast.

Thankfully we spoke to a couple of locals doing the same thing who poo pooed the conductors doom and gloom. (He had almost been gleeful telling us our ETA was 2 minutes after departure time)

One of the ferry passengers had said 'if it was Neil, we'd be fine, but it's Ryan who's a bastard and will probably leave early just to spite us'

As it turned out we arrived in Mallaig at 1756 and by 1759 we were on the ferry to Inverie!!

21 minutes later we were in Knoydart, and heading for the bunkhouse. Ahead of a couple days in Knoydart, hopefully weather and sore feet will allow for a successful few days in the hills
