(209) Rejuvenation

I decided to try and get a few jobs ticked off the 'to-do' list today, starting with the garden seat. After sanding it down and giving it a first coat of woodstain a couple of days ago, today I had to 'de-nib' and apply a second coat. Then I sanded down and repainted the wooden trim around the flat roof of the two brick-built sheds before tackling the mutant hybrid ivy/Blackthorn hedge at the bottom of the garden. Next was a drive down to Kirkcaldy for some compost, cable clips, staples, shed/fence treatment, and shelf brackets. Back home, I gave the wooden shed a coat of 'Medium Oak' preservative and then installed a couple of strings of garden lights. 
Shower at 8pm, dinner and half past, then time to sit down with a beer. I might even manage two. Extra is the 'before' view of the garden seat.
