Dog Days

It has been a lovely day full of very nice dogs and very nice people. Our neighbour in the camper van next door to us was getting ready for the off early this morning with her two dogs Harti and Onyx, but before they left for their onward journey and a walk in Sherwood Forest they popped into 'Matilda' to say their goodbyes.

Later in the morning we went over to see A&C my #2 daughter's parents in law who are kindly house and dog sitting whilst the family are on holiday in France. Peanut (Nutty) has recently had a serious back op after slipping discs and needs lots of TLC, gentle walks and NO jumping. He's doing very well, eating and sleeping and doesn't appear to be missing his owners too much. A cooked us some lovely curries in the evening and a gorgeous sunset greeted us when we got back to the caravan.

Looking forward to another day with A&C and the dogs tomorrow.
