Disney fun

Today we set off early to get to the Florida Disney Magic Kingdom in time for it opening - all 9 of us in matching tea shirts ! Just as well G has hired a large transit van for this week.

As we had hoped Poppy loved the experience although she was not quite ready for the scary 50 ft drop in one of the rides that almost soaked her - the 2nd extra shows us about to reach the top of that ride before the fast descent. I am not sure grandpa was quite ready either ! 

Fortunately there are plenty much more gentle and magical experiences and it brought back memories of our trip with our boys more than 30 years ago.

We had been well warned that Florida is hot at this time of year and it certainly is - in fact they are also experiencing a heat wave ! It feels like being in a tropical plant hot house .
