The Fringe begins

There are performances already, although the official start date is Friday. The object here is an Official Edinburgh Festival Fringe Outdoor Advertising Structure, Number 4S-480 on London Road - made of Heras fence, mesh screen, and a lot of weights aiming to keep in place what will be a significant sail if the wind gets up ..the posters get attached to the mesh.

Afternoon walk through London Road gardens, where we saw a deer .. this is central Edinburgh, where we expect foxes, but a deer ?  Around by Regent Road .. five rabbits .. then through to Leith Street and down the hill.
