Manhole cover

Mr H and I had a walk with cameras. Not sure what he was looking for. Or maybe it was the gradually decreasing light as the evening progressed. It is many months, indeed years, since I last posted a photo of a manhole cover. 

This one appealed because of where it is. In the middle of the gravel road beside the upper pipeline. It likely is where I saw it because There is stop valve in the pipe and a chute to carry water down the steep slope down from Exhibition Drive.
