Sunflowers
Not from the co-op or my allotment. These are part of the first flower crop from my sister's flower farm.
In the extras are my first achocha and the remains of the broad beans. Apparently you can harvest achocha when they are 2-3 cm long to eat like cucumber or 5-6 cm to cook.
I cut the broad beans off just above the ground rather than pulling them out and they are already sprouting from the base. So I'm hoping for a second crop later in the summer.
