Common Globetail

The gardener finally got her wish, as we woke today to a pretty persistent heavy drizzle that lasted all morning, pretty much non-stop.  Given how dry it has been recently, I'm not sure that it was really quite enough rain, but it will hopefully help keep some of Cathy's plants alive for a little while longer.

In the meantime, I managed to get this shot of a tiny hoverfly in the garden once the rain had stopped this afternoon.
