Tiny Lady Of Shalott

We don't do jigsaws but I bought this Waterhouse one for mrsfb, for her birthday back in January. It's been in a cupboard but came out last week for the grandsons to help with. It's only 250 pieces but it's fiendishly difficult as the pieces are not normal jigsaw shapes. There are 'whimsy' shapes (can you see the bird and the castle) and no corner pieces. We are getting there, but it's going to take a while.

We've got a print of this over the mantlepiece in our living room and I have never noticed the birds or the crucifix before. It's surprising what you can see when you have to look at the detail. A bit like photography really.

More camera club admin today, I've almost done half of the events listings for the website.

Oh, and we booked a holiday in North Devon for next month, so we will get to the seaside after all.

Anyway, back to the jigsaw now.
