River Findhorn

This was the first of three days that Nick will be fishing on the River Findhorn. It was a day of adventure for all of us because of the terrain we needed to negotiate to get down to river level. Bertie and I left Nick to his fishing and wandered along steep wooded slopes with paths that had been mostly carved out of the valley side. On one particular part the path had been built out from the cliff where a wall had been specially constructed for the purpose. I felt it was a privilege to be able to enjoy the dramatic scenery with nobody else around.
