Feather Saves the Day

Early morning haircut then over to Skipton to meet up with Ruby.
Took a collection of clothes that l had sorted out last night, not sure how many but it took seven coat hangers. All navy blue or white as we had decided on that combination yesterday.
Then l tried them on for her:
Baggy navy balloon pants and a boxy white T was pronounced perfect by Ruby. I wasn’t convinced.
Oska asymmetrical navy long sleeve top and white baggy balloon pants was a definite no.
Oska navy pencil pants turned up to 7/8 length, high neck, sleeveless navy silk vest , open long white thin linen shirt over the top was declared a winner by both of us (shirt and pants are well over ten years old).
Didn’t try any other combination.
Ruby will wear navy joggers and a simple white T - how easy.

Then to rehearsal, first to go through our lines as we introduce the dances, six in all. That didn’t go well so we carried on rehearsing without them.
My improvisation bit wasn’t as good as yesterday but it was ok.

Back to Ruby’s and we wrote out the synopsis in rough. ( that will cut down on explaining in person what each piece is about) Ruby will now finish that and write it up fully and print off a couple of dozen copies to give to the panel and audience.
She has an online meeting with the tech department about the lighting this afternoon and we meet with them on Thursday morning for a rehearsal.

Back home and done nothing again but that’s ok.

Not thought about a blip so it’s a feather.
