Flamingo Chicks
Having been shattered last night, I slept......4 hours, so annoying. So I was still quite tired for my walk with G at Pensthorpe this morning. It was quiet round the reserve once you got past the first 100m from reception. There was not a lot of wildlife around to see, but I was delighted to see two new flamingo chicks (one is photo 1 & 3, the other is in the middle). There were also a couple of ducklings still in the flamingo pond. The flowers were looking good, I've added an extra of a bee on echinacea. We stopped at the cafe for a cuppa, it's being renovated so all the seating is outside and I was bothered repeatedly by a wasp that was after my hot chocolate. This afternoon I booked three tickets for Bletchley Park on Saturday, including afternoon tea - it should have been a short job, but took ages as their website and the payment section were playing up, which meant I had to book by phone and also caused an automated text to be sent by my credit company and I had to ring them to confirm all was ok. Then I washed my car - so many spider webs on cars at the moment!
