Bus Challenge No 256

Bath Abbey Lunchtime Organ Recital 

Knowing Dad was sleeping off the sedation after this morning's surgery, before heading to the RUH, took the bus into Bath for the recital, performed by a 16yr old organist, he was brilliant! In such grand surroundings the music sent shivers down your spine.

Day 40: Surgery went well but it took me chasing the nurse and doctor in order to get morphine as Dad was in a lot of pain. Spent two hours reading to the patient then left him to sleep. 

Three buses and a morning of persistent rain, followed by leaden skies and torrential downpours, a very muggy 22 degrees. Luckily I stayed dry all day, every time it was chucking it down I was either in a building or on a bus.

Total bus journey time = 59mins
