Today, after walking Django, I went into work. There I revised a few lines of my recent code, taking on the comments from one of our contributors. This took me up to lunch, which I had with our intern. Afterwards, I described how she could improve the narrative of her dissertation, and give it a bit more mathematical "oomph"! She seemed happy, and I'll go in on Thursday to see how she's getting on.

Later in the afternoon, PhD student B came in to tweak his pico-cluster so that he'd be able to use it from home. This machine really is the cherry on top of all the fun he's having as he learns about the new field of his PhD studies.

When I got home, Kermit had just had his tea, so was in a good mood - until I stroked his tail and tried to remove something stuck in the fur. He took great exception to my suggesting that he's not washing it properly, and showed that he can still look fierce.
