Union Street Gardens

E and I are up in Aberdeen for a quick visit. We had a walk round the city centre and walked through Union Street Gardens. It has changed a lot since my uni days for the better. Then I met 2 folk who I worked with 35 years ago in the Aberdeen Bookshop. It was like we had never been apart (first time we’d met since then) It was just so lovely to catch up on 35 years and of course reminisce! E loved the chat.
Then to our hotel, a quick freshen up then out to dinner.
Tomorrow the reason we are here;)
