Preying on the weak, the scared, the "other."  Take your masks off ICE!!!  Who are you?!  What are you hiding?!  These are the masks of a fascist government. Perhaps hired from the hordes of PARDONED Insurrectionists?

It’s tragic, really, because I used to love America. Now, it’s all too apparent that The American Dream is really an American Nightmare. Many countries now have the freedom and democracy that America used to think made it so special, but those countries don’t have the violence, crime, political corruption and social inequality to anywhere near the degree that the U.S. does.

Forgive me.  Every other day or so, it seems, I lose it emotionally.  As I said to blipper Esper: Do you know how hard it is now to maintain one's sanity in this country which was once the "beacon on the hill?"  Can you imagine how hard it is to maintain a positive outlook?  No one in any other country now wishes they were American!  

Do NOT come to America.  We have become one of those "shit hole" countries Trump mocked during his first administration.  I love my country, and I will fight to defend Democracy in the ways I think I can make a difference. But I am all too aware that I may be, personally, at any time thrown to the ground (for protesting) by the thugs wearing masks in the HOME OF THE BRAVE; LAND OF THE FREE.
