Not all there

As Mrs Rex was off to Amsterdam in the early hours of this morning I amused myself with a visit to Mike Nelson's exhibition in the Fruitmarket Gallery. Humpty Dumpty; a transient history of Mardin earthworks; and low rise, which reminded me of when we first moved into our house. Especially the part about not only relating to "the buildings' material reality, but also to those that inhabited it and the ideology that made those homes possible." Deep or what..? Back home in time for R's arrival to keep me company at least until Mrs Rex's returns tomorrow and probably for some time afterwards too.

His visits tend to be open ended. Much like Mike Nelson's exhibition.
