Piggy!

Backblip for Wednesday 23/7.  Silly day today. Had an appointment at the opticians, and the journey there on 2 buses reminded me that I shouldn't over imbibe at 3 & go the night before an appointment! I'd had a couple of issues and it was thought that I might be developing another retinal tear, but this time in my "good" eye. With scans and photos and lots of examinations I was there for nearly 3 hours! The lady who did my examinations then consulted a senior member of staff who then also spent some time examining me. Thankfully it was decided that all was okay for now and it was probably just the vitreous jelly at the back of the eye causing floaters etc. A very slight change in prescription, and orders to go back straight away if anything else happened. A bumpy journey home on the little K4 bus with purse somewhat lighter! Cheered up by this little Murano glass piggy - a present from my grandson (he knows I love pigs!) after his recent trip to Venice.
