I'm anting ! Please go away!

This little (
we think ) house wren landed and spread out it's wings and flattened out. This is a classic anting posture. Some birds will do this and let ants crawl all over them through their feathers. The presumed reason is they help to get rid of feather lice or other parasites. I didn't know wrens did it as the usual example bird is the bluejay. This little one then stood up shook out it's feathers and got down for another session, followed by another shaking out of the feathers before he /she hopped off into the underbrush.
