Almondblossoms

Watched a program on the painting of Vincent van Gogh's "Almond blossom" a painting he made in the last months of his life in 1890 and gave as a present to his brother Theo for the birth of his son Vincent, for Vincent's nephew that is. When in Crete I did photograph almond blossoms on various occasions in January when they blossom and here is one I like lots. No blue sky as backdrop, but the soft yellow wall of a house.
