Long Galleries
To the Australian Museum for Tails From The Coasts: Nature stories of Singapore, an exhibition of watercolours by Chinese, Malayan and European artists in the William Farquhar Collection. I temporarily learnt a few facts: the Wallace Line separates animals into two distinct types, those native to the Indo-Malayan region to the north and those to the Austro-Malayan region to the south; migratory birds make Singapore a birdwatcher’s paradise; Singapore is working to conserve endangered species, including the Tasmanian Devil.
I popped into the long galleries, an old part of the museum, on the way out.
Thanks for hosting BobsBlips.
