Snapshots of rural France

rush hour at the 'boulangerie'

Small effort at blip today, as a busy afternoon ahead. I popped into town to go to the bank, and as it was approaching lunchtime, town was busy as was the bakery. I headed into the bakery to pick up a baguette for lunch. This lady who serves the bread is just the best, happiest, jolliest lady. She includes everyone in her conversation with each client and has a great sense of humour. She is as every bit as bubbly as her look suggests...this is the best bakery/patisserie in town by the way!
