Wide Wednesday.....Old
Not a bad morning for a walk and G and I did the local lanes, and around the cricket pitch in the park, before our stop for the obligatory coffee and tea. Got a couple of bits in the local supermarket and came home via St. Joseph's Catholic Church, which is quite old, to capture it for my blip ...
On May Day the 1st May 1879 the Church was opened by Bishop Cornthwaite of Leeds
The Church was designed in the Perpendicular Gothic style by M.E. Hadfield & Son architect’s of Sheffield.
I also came across this lovely poem this afternoon, when I was going though my photos, and deleting a lot unwanted ones .
This one I kept:)
