Stow on the Wold

The doorway and the yew trees were said to have inspired Tolkien when he wrote ‘The Lord of the rings’ - ‘the gates to Moria’. I have put this on blip once before a couple of years ago. There were some people queuing up to get their photos taken there.

B and I explored Morton-in-Marsh and Stow on the Wold today. We hadn’t been there for ages. I also bought some new dog toys, a huge pheasant and duck, one for each dog.
