Crop

The apple crop is looking bountiful this year. I should probably have removed a few earlier in the year. After taking this picture I realised there was a rotten apple infecting another in the top right corner so removed them both and disposed of them. 
The plums are beginning to ripen but I nearly picked one when I realised the wasps were on the top of it.. so left it there for them to consume.. drat!
The roads are littered with yellow plums this year.. I thought it was cherries but when I stopped beside one yesterday I realised they were wild plums.. and the wasps were enough to put me off trying to pick a few low ones!
