When I saw this book on the worktop in the Daisychain charity shop this afternoon, I was immediately transported back to my childhood. 

Mum and Dad had a bookcase on the landing and at about 12 years old I set myself the task of reading every book in that bookcase, including this one. Other titles I remember were Route 66 and Lady Chatterley's Lover. I didn't manage to read all of the books, which were mainly Penguin paperbacks, but it was a good challenge!
