…..it’s amazing how much money you can make when you invent a very efficient weapon and then sell it to autocratic regimes.

Anyway, enough of contemporary British politics, we spent the day at Baron Armstrong’s joint in Rothbury. He created a Victorian wonderland with the money he made from inventing the breech loading canon and selling it to repressive autocratic regimes. Oh…..erm…anyway, his joint makes for an interesting day out. If you’ve never been here, give it a go.
