Supervisor....

Sometimes events supersede plans... So whilst I'd thought building the rockery and pondless waterfall would be this summer's 'project' the collapse of the wall between us and nice neighbour changed that.
It's been an annoying part of the garden for a long time, which means the Leylandii we've never liked has slowly reached 30ft and become a hazard. So today I took it down. It was a complex jenga style operation to make each trunk come down away from the Pergola that carries electricity and Internet to my office. A fun 3D puzzle involving chainsaw and rope. I was absorbed for most of the morning.
Missy was bemused.

Next I'll dig out all the ground elder infested order and replace the soil.
