Lovely

I travelled overnight from Tanzania to Mozambique via Johannesburg. In the coming days there’s an important meeting of partners involved in the management of the Niassa landscape in northern Mozambique, which I’ve been invited to attend.

‘Lovely morning for flying’ according to the pilot on the second leg to Maputo. It was indeed also a lovely afternoon for strolling around the Polana area of the city with its elevated green spots and Indian Ocean views. This is winter in Maputo, with its reliable blue sky days that are not scorching.
