Miniature Rose

This is one of the roses on our miniature rose bush, there are only a few left of the hundreds that have been blooming on it this year.

This morning I managed to get the GOG an emergency doctor's appointment. The system involves telephoning the surgery at 0800 hours and asking for an urgent appointment, with the duty doctor, otherwise there is usually a two or even three week wait for an appointment with your own doctor. What happened to the old system where you sat in the waiting room and the doctor saw everyone in the order that you arrived?

He was concerned about his swollen feet and the fact that he can only get slippers on and these do not fit by the end of the day. It seems, as we had already thought, that one of his medicines is causing his feet to swell; the medication has been changed and hopefully the feet will revert to their normal size.


Until the Grumpy Old Git is feeling better I am updating his journal with words and pictures to produce a record and to inform anyone who is interested in his progress.
