Headin for Mackerel
A beautiful sunny day, all day and into the evening. Lovely and warm, 20⁰c highs. Almost flat calm all day.
I've been working with James on the mini essykert again. It was general waste in Bressay this morning, then a few streets in Scalloway. A few litter bins to sort up north after lunch. Too hot for Sammy today, he was too tired for walkies. Been out on the boat this evening, now feet up.
Headed out on the boat with peerie Brian, we invited niece Elise along too. We got the fishing gear out, had a great time catching some mackerel. Unfortunately, I was so busy catching fish, I didn't manage to get any of Elise with her catch. Elise has plenty of fillets for her tea, and extra for her neighbours. After the fishing, we headed to Oxna for a cuppa. Drank the tea quickly, the midgies were rife. A quick snap of Elise, as we headed out of Scalloway harbour.
