Late delivery

A long day with a few tea breaks thanks to friends dropping in. I am loving the cooler weather. There were even three spots of rain today. One on the van, one on my nose and another on the neighbour’s car.

A rogue wood pigeon chick wandered into the shop too. It had fallen from its nest and had a bang on its head. It gave me that intelligent look when I talked to it that nearly broke my heart, but then it hopped off. I think a neighbour found it a little later. Not holding out much hope, but you never know..!
