This little speedwell is so tiny - less than the size of your little fingernail - but it is so beautifully formed. I had been 'weeding' them out of my flowerbeds until one came into flower and now I'm just letting them grow. For wildflower week.
 I tried on a pair of shoes today that I intended to wear for an upcoming  wedding and initially they seemed a bit tight. Admittedly I have had them for a couple of years but within about 1/2 hour one of the heels started to disintegrate and within an hour they were unwearable. They are Clarkes so I was very surprised but it was a good job they went now rather than at the wedding. Now I have to go shoe shopping.
