Flowers.

Wednesday is usually our day blipping flowers at garden centres.  As it is a 5 week month we had already visited our usual venues, so we decided to have a look at some different flowers.  Rheged is having a "Contemporary Art Exhibition" called In Bud and Bloom.  So we decided to go there for a change.

Thinking we wouldn't be allowed photography we didn't take the cameras.  Clickychick asked at the desk as she was buying the tickets and to our surprise photography was allowed.  So I resorted to the phone.

Each exhibit had the artists name the name of the piece of work and the medium used to produce it.  These examples said they were photography.  They had been processed to look like paintings.  As Kanyl said he has seen a lot of art that was so detailed it could be mistaken for photography but photographs that can be mistake for art was a new one.

P.S. For anyone interested the exhibition runs until 5/10/25 and costs £3 per person.  Well worth it in my opinion.
