I am amazed - on a regular basis - at just how disgusting and selfish some of my fellow citizens are. 

The bins and rubbish strewn pavement are around the corner from the Office. One of the residents affected had come in to ask if we had a contact at the Council who might expedite a clean up. 

We did. Archie will have received my email almost before Emma got back to her flat. Generally speaking Archie gets stuff done. We try not to take advantage of his conscientious attitude too often. 

The rest of the day passed quickly. 

The Manager's mother-in-law has Covid. The Manager started to suffer the same symptoms this afternoon. I did hint that she should send me home, or go home herself, but management often feel the urge to be heroic about these things. I don't.
