1970's Wedding

My latest acquisition to my collection of old wedding photos.  This one is very definitely 1970's - fairly early 1970's I would say.  The bride looks really nice - her dress is simple but lovely.  The bridesmaids look good too in their floral dresses which were popular at the time.  Wedding bouquets were normal size although some of the ladies handbags were on the large side.

Now let's turn to the men.  The 1970's - the decade of long to very long hair worn by many men and also the decade of facial hair.  The men in this photo did not disappoint.  One of the men has a pattered tie on - a trend of that era.

Pleased to say that almost everyone looks happy.  Perhaps people were becoming more at ease having their photos taken.  A nice photo of what looks like a happy day for all concerned.
