Blackberries

There do seem to be plenty of berries on the brambles this year. Spoilt for choice for a blip - but I quite liked these ones shining in the sunshine with a nice bit of blue sky behind.

I walked to Wetherby this morning - almost 4.75 miles - to collect some engine oil for Mrs madwill’s car. Yesterday I was checking it over (tyres, water, oil etc.) before she sets off on her travels tomorrow and found that the oil did not even register on the dipstick…can’t remember the last time I checked it (and it is safe to assume that no one else has). Sadly I didn’t have any in my shed - and didn’t want the car to be driven anywhere to collect some. So I went and collected three litres, then came home on the bus and topped up the engine! Should be ok for a while now!

A nice walk to add to my total..saves having to go out later…
